An international fertilizer company had a data governance problem. The business struggled to realize its goal of being a data-driven company following a slew of acquisitions. A group of data-focused leaders sought to change that, starting with digital finance products.

But documenting and clearly communicating the inner workings of these complex services to people outside of the department became a challenge.

So they used the UX talent at P3+Uplift to organize and map their data system in a way that could be easily understood by their peers and improve collaboration across different areas of the business. In 3 weeks, leadership said we knew more about the business than many of their long-tenured employees.
